Congratulations if you are planning to get married! We believe that marriage is really important, and we are delighted you are considering a church wedding. It is always a great joy to see couples include the God of all love in their wedding day, through the words and worship of a church service.
There are various aspects to consider if you wish to marry in the Church of England. If one or both of you live within our Parish or has a close connection with us, and neither of you have been married before, you are entitled to be married here.
If you live outside the Parish of the Church where you wish to marry or you have been married before, you will need to discuss this with The Rev’d Sue Rose.
